UP

The video installation UP explores the intense perception of movement. Visitors to the walk-in installation become part of an encounter between two dancers Anna Till and Johanna Roggan that is at once fierce and tender. Viewers are confronted with the force and intimacy of physical contact, thereby becoming aware of the perception of their own bodies.

UP is a collaborative project by Barbara Lubich, Johanna Roggan, and Anna Till.

Die Videoinstallation UP beschäftigt sich mit der intensiven Wahrnehmung von Bewegung. Die Besucher:innen der begehbaren Installation werden Teil einer heftigen und zugleich zärtlichen Begegnung zweier Tänzerinnen – Anna Till und Johanna Roggan. Die Betrachter:innen werden mit der Wucht und Intimität körperlicher Begegnung konfrontiert und somit auf die Wahrnehmung ihres eigenen Körpers aufmerksam gemacht.
